Creative Workshop: Introduction to 3D Felting (Small Felted Bag)

Transform fiber into a unique three-dimensional object! This hands-on workshop is an invitation to explore the art of wet felting using water and soap, while introducing you to the fascinating technique of felting over a resist.

Making this small bag is a highly creative project that will provide you with a solid foundation. The techniques you learn can then be applied to a variety of other 3D projects, such as small cushions or decorative vessels.

🐑 A Local and Eco-Friendly Experience

During this workshop, you will have the unique opportunity to work with fibers sourced directly from Canadian sheep farms. Together, we will take a moment to explore the short-loop circular economy in the fiber industry. It is a wonderful way to raise awareness about local resource development and understand the sustainable journey from sheep to your finished felted creation.

🧳 Materials to Bring:

To ensure your comfort and the smooth running of the workshop, please bring:

• 1 bath towel

•  2 washcloths

• 1 half pool noodle

•  1 medium-sized plastic bag

•  1 apron

⚠️ Important note for your comfort: Wet felting is a physical process and you will be standing throughout the workshop. We highly recommend wearing comfortable clothes and, above all, shoes with very comfortable and supportive soles
